Duke Kahanamoku Ocean Fest.

Kai Lenny Wins SUP Junior Division at the Duke Kahanamoku Ocean Fest

The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation (ODKF) presented the 7th Annual Duke's Ocean Fest at Waikiki Beach from August 17-24, 2008. The week long festival honors the legacy of the Hawaii surf icon and raises funds for local scholarship and grant programs, and features a wide array of exciting water sports competitions. Waikiki local Candice Appleby out-performed a field of world-class Stand-up Paddle surfers to win both the pro division and the women's category, and Naish team rider Kai Lenny from Maui won the Junior stand up division 19 and under.

Congratulations from all of us at Naish!
