Event Summary - Westerland beach provided a perfect week of wind and waves to conclude the 2009 World Tour in an epic showdown of freestyle, wave, and slalom, in front of the thousands of spectators lined up on Sylt's superb Brandenberger Strand.
Day 9 - Storm force winds and relentless seas restrict competition on the final day of the 2009 World Tour giving Marcilio Browne the opportunity to wow the crowds and win some cash in an epic Sylt super session.
Day 8 - Alex Mussolini and Iballa Ruano Moreno tame mast high growlers to claim victory in the North Sea. Meanwhile, Josh Angulo and Daida Ruano Moreno claim the 2009 Overall Wave World Titles.

Day 7 - Unpredictable winds and heavy rainstorms plagued Westerland's iconic beach on the seventh day of competition, causing havoc for the start of the second freestyle single elimination.
Day 6 - Alex Mussolini tears a pathway to the front of the fleet on day six with an awesome display of skill in a super sized Sylt spectacular.
Day 5 - Light winds halt the competition on day 5 giving the sailors time to prepare for what lies ahead.
Day 4 - After four full eliminations of high-octane slalom, Antoine Albeau leads the fleet and proves to the crowds on Brandenberger Strand that he's the World's number one racer.
Day 3 - It's a one, two, three for the boys from Bonaire, with Taty Frans taking the lead after a full round of furious freestyle on Sylt's Westerland beach.
Day 2 - The slalom sailors were tantalisingly close to starting their first heats today, but with variable winds plaguing the event site, they have been forced to wait for another day.
Day 1 - Light winds prevent any competition from taking place on day one, but everyone remains hopeful due to the current forecast.
Registration Day - The World's most talented windsurfers descended on Sylt's golden sands to sign up for 9 solid days of Super Grand Slam action in the final event of this year's World Tour.
Event Preview - As the final competition of the 2009 PWA World Tour draws ever closer, the pressure rises amongst the sailors, and Sylt's iconic Westerland beach gears up for what promises to be a dramatic conclusion to the season.
