The man many consider to be the best sailor on the planet is coming to Adelaide for the Commonwealth Bank 2009 Etchells Australian Championships. Ben Ainslie, Britain's Triple Olympic gold and silver medallist, and ISAF World Sailor of the Year 2008 will be in Adelaide next month to compete at the Etchells Australian Championships.

Ben won Gold in the Laser class in Sydney 2000, and then moved to the Finn class where he won Gold again at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 (not to mention five World Titles!). Ben has also been announced as skipper of the British America's Cup campaign 'Origin' for the 33 America's Cup challenge in 2009.

Ben will be part of a dream team that includes John Bertrand (former skipper, Australia II) and Andrew Palfrey (2008 Olympian with Iain Murray - Star class).
