The Whitsundays are the winter home of sailing in Australia. Cyclone Ului crossed the Australian coastline at Airlie Beach with winds of 200km per hour.

Here is some of the coverage. Including some sad sad vision of Anaconda II on the rockwall. One of a dozen boats that had incredibly been left on their moorings outside the shelter of the local marina and which ran aground during a night of furious wind and big seas
