A couple of weeks after his last visit, Ivor Wilkins toured the Core Composites facility, at Warkworth, 40 minutes north of Auckland, to check progress on the new AC45 class that will be used for the opening rounds of the America's Cup World Championship series of regattas. The first set of female moulds have now been constructed from the male moulds that were being finished in the last visit, in preparation for the first layup.
