Another glorious day on Hamilton Island

Another glorious sailing day on Hamilton Island on Wednesday morning, at the 25th annual Audi Hamilton island Race Week.

Reading Kenn Batt's weather forecast this morning, courtesy of North Sails, it looks like this week is shaping as the most consistently windy regatta for many years.

We might have to go back to 1999 to find more breeze for the first days of the regatta and some may recall that year, the wind eased on the last three days, with the Saturday Lindeman Island race almost a drifter.

After weeks in Qingdao, the thing that is most appreciated back in Australia and certainly in the Whitsundays is the visibility. Late yesterday in the Audi Hamilton Island media centre you could see clear across the Harbour. Even further.
