Australian crews receive funding following success at Championships

Yachting Australia is pleased to announce the recipients of funding for competitors who had strong performances at recent ISAF International and Recognised Class World Championships. For the 2009-2010 period 12 successful applicants shared funding from Yachting Australia following their results at World Championship regattas across the globe with the program supported by the Australian Sports Commission. Recipients included New South Wales father and daughter crew Rob and Nicole Douglass who won the 2009 Tasar World Championship in Japan. They were joined on the podium by South Australians Craig McPhee and Phillippa Arevalo who claimed the Silver medal in the 78 ...
