Australia's sailing team are upset over being charged more than ?150,000 ($230,000) to prepare in Weymouth and Portland for the 2012 Olympics and claim that several teams from around the world are complaining about the 'excessive' fees. Yatchting Australia claim that they are being forced to pay A$130,000 (?75,000/$116,000)) a year for access to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) where the sailing events will be held in 2012. Yatchting Australia's high performance director Peter Conde claimed that the WPNSA had charged reasonable fees last year but had dramatically increased the price for the next two years, leading ...
