BIA Vic seeks members for advisory panels

9:16 AM Mon 1 Dec 2008 GMT
The Boating Industry Association (BIA) of Victoria is recruiting industry members to four new advisory panels to drive policy and action positions on important industry issues.

The four panels are Infrastructure, Safety, Environment, and Technical.

BIA general manager Robert Coco said the panels would draw on members' expertise as an important step in implementing new strategic directions for the Association.

"These groups will comment on issues on which the Association wishes to express an opinion, make a submission or respond to formal requests for information," he said.

"It is an opportunity for members to shape the future of the industry."
