To celebrate the commissioning of the new Sydney (Terrey Hills) Weather Radar, the Bureau of Meteorology is conducting free seminars for all who take an interest in the weather radar images which are available on the Bureau's website at: www.bom.gov.au/weather/radar .

Rob Webb, Michael Logan & Julie Evans
Senior Meteorologists
NSW Regional Office

Topics will include:

* How radars work;
* About thunderstorms; and
* How to use the web images effectively.
