The Capital Insurance Brokers ACT Dinghy Championships attracted 130 boats last weekend to Canberra Yacht Club. Racing was held on the West and Central basins of Lake Burley Griffin, with two separate race management teams. The Canberra Yacht Club did a fantastic job of hosting the numerous classes, which ranged from Optimists to Flying Fifteens and Sailability classes. Ian Brokenshire acted as Principal Race Officer, and Howard Faulks was the Regatta Manager, with many volunteers as always in Canberra, thanks to all who made the event possible. The NS14's, Opti's, and Spirals used the regatta as their ACT State Championship. ...
