'TS16’s in action' Drummoyne Sailing Club

Preparation for the Hartley TS16 National Championships continues to heat up at Drummoyne Sailing Club, NSW.

Saturday 7th November saw heat 3 of the Club Championship for the Hartley TS16 fleet at Drummoyne.

It was a blustery 15 - 18 knot easterly that took boats around Snapper, Spectacle and Cockatoo Islands and up to Mann's Point. The 13 boat fleet all sailed very competitively and the fresh breeze made sure that no boat was far from the lead.

Murphy's Law skippered by Graham Bevan was the victor in a close fought struggle for line honours. Uncle Roy (Eric Partland) finished close behind in second and Charlie Brown (Justine Tornai) rounded out the top three.

This race has proved once again that the Hartley TS16's are shaping up for a competitive and interesting season and are well on track for the National Championships in December-January at Drummoyne.
