Etchell winter series starts with a bang

The Auckland Etchell fleet are back up and racing this winter with a great afternoon's sailing on Sunday. The first in a series which is to take place every fortnight took place on Sunday the 23rd of May with a growing Etchell fleet. A 5-12 knot pre weather bomb Easterly made for great sailing conditions on the Waitemata Harbour out in front of Westhaven marina. Race committee of Megan Kensington, Theresa Gair and Warwick Gair set the course for a 1pm start and got three races away.
