Darryl Hodgkinson and his Victoire crew remained patient to take out the Flinders Islet Race overall today, while Bill Wild and his Rodd & Gunn Wedgetail claimed line honours in the Blue Water Pointscore series race after hanging on all night and early this morning waiting for a decent wind to reappear. Hodgkinson?s Beneteau First 45 finished the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia?s race in the elapsed time of 18 hours 12 minutes 30 seconds to secure overall victory of close to four minutes over Hugh Torode?s Beneteau 40.7, Shepherd Centre.
