Australia's Original Prop Shop is offering free propeller appraisals and advice to visitors at the 2009 Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Show, 30 January to 1 February.

Utilising the Accuscan Propeller Profiler, those who bring along their propeller for the free assessment (valued at $55) will receive a printed profile of the propeller and sound advice on all propeller-related performance issues.

Australia's Original Prop Shop director Ben Hawke said propeller performance was an important, but often overlooked, aspect of boating.

'Australia's Original Prop Shop has the country's only National Marine Propeller Association (USA) trained technicians and is Victoria and South Australia's only authorised Volvo Penta Propeller Service Dealer,' Mr Hawke said.

'We know propellers inside out. so simply bring in any propeller under 20' diameter and drop it off at our stand while you wander around the rest of the show.

'Our experienced technicians and Accuscan Propeller Profiler will do the rest!'
