Geographe Bay Race Week day 4. The short passage race for IRC boats, cruising and multihull divisions this afternoon started in a light breeze which softened as the race progressed. As a result, only two divisions sailed the full course while the remainder were spared the agony and were greeted by a finish boat carrying a Code S well before the full distance. Limit?s superior speed took her past the shortened course mark well before a temporary finish boat could reach it, so the whole of IRC division 1 was forced to sail the full distance.
