After a weekend dominated by the big boats in Royal Freshwater Bay's Roland Smith and Gordon Craig ocean races, the smaller early-season stars will be looking to regain credibility in next weekend's Gordon Haselhurst Coventry Reef Race. The race, a popular forty-eight miler conducted by Fremantle Sailing Club, takes competitors west around the Windmills, south to Coventry Reef off Warnbro Sound, then back to Fremantle via the Challenger Passage between Garden and Carnac Islands.
