IKA terminates sanctioning for KPWT events

International Kiteboarding Association
The International Kiteboarding Association regret to announce, that all future KPWT events are not sanctioned anymore by the International Kiteboarding Association and thus do not count for the world rankings.

The KPWT has been in material and persistent breach of the sanctioning agreement between IKA and KPWT, and has failed to remedy this breach after being requested to do so. Therefore the IKA had to terminate the sanctioning agreement with immediate effect to protect the interest of their national members and competitors.

All past events of the 2009 season do still count for the world ranking, and competitors are allowed to enter the remaining KPWT events in 2009 without consequences.
