The three practice races that took place in Venice confirmed what everyone predicted: the level of competition of the 2009 iShares Cup is very high! Gitana Extreme - Groupe LCF Rothschild, Groupama and Oman Sail's Masirah each came ashore with a victory, the final race of the day having been particularly close-fought and spectacular with its central Venice finish line.
