According to the latest radio sked, the Open 60 O Canada and one of the veterans of the NZ ocean racing scene, the Davidson 55, Starlight Express, are level pegging on 869 miles to sail to the finish at Port Denerau Marina. Despite strong winds south of North Cape the fleet is reported to be in lighter breezes and there are some interesting results on the water, with the Bakewell-White 52 Wired, trailing the smaller and newer Bakewell-White 36, General Lee.
