International Fireball Australian Championships, Gippsland Lakes. With a pleasant 10-14 knots from the South East, the fleet left the beach, with the battle between Michael Thomson/Eddy Alder and Lauren Thredgold/ Beth Fawcett to claim first overall in the final race remaining. The fleet pushed the start hard with three boats recorded OCS, with only one of them restarting. ?Lauren/ Beth showed they meant business by taking an early lead. ?They were followed closely by Thomo/Eddy who only had to finish near them to secure first. ?
