Kids Tackers program to help Victoria's stricken regional yacht clubs

Yachting Victoria with the support of the Minister for Sport and Recreation, James Merlino is pleased to announce an immediate program to get primary school age children through regional Victoria to go sailing. This free initiative will assist inland yacht clubs who lost both their boating venues and thousands of members during the drought to re launch their on water activities and re attract sailors again. The Boatshed's Mobile Whitworth Tackers Fleet is based at Albert Park Lake with the trailer donated by Variety and the program is managed by Yachting Victoria.
