Australia's Laser class sailors are busy preparing for the 2010 Laser World Championship in Hayling Island, Great Britain, with racing set to begin on Monday 30 August. Australia will have 12 sailors in the 160 entrant strong fleet, led by dual Laser World Champion and 2008 Beijing Olympic Games representative Tom Slingsby. Slingsby has had a great 2010 winning the Australian Laser Championship, all three rounds of the ISAF Sailing World Cup he contested and finishing third at the 2010 Laser European Championship.
