Maritime Hero clock ticking for nominations

There is just a days left to nominate someone for a 2010 NSW Maritime Medal. 'With nominations closing this Friday August 20, it's now time to choose who you think has made an outstanding and sustained contribution to the NSW boating and the marine world,' said Ports and Waterways Minister, Paul McLeay. 'Past winners have been many and diverse, but they have one thing in common. 'All have made an invaluable contribution to our state's magnificent waterways - be it through promoting boating safety, enhancing the marine environment or supporting the boating community.
