The Meridien Marinas Airlie Beach Regatta cruising spinnaker and non-spinnaker divisions has again attracted an interesting group of sailors and boats. Not wanting to retire themselves or their boats, some classics have made the move to a different level of yacht racing, but still showing competitive spirit on the water. Multiple blue water race winner, including three Sydney-Hobart races, two as skipper in 1997 and 1991 with his yacht Brindabella, and one as crew on Love and War in 2006, George Snow has moved into a new world of yacht racing competing in the Cruising Spinnaker division at Airlie Beach. ...
