Mining Companies Make it Happen for two Philippine Mirror Crews

A couple of mining companies have come to the rescue with fantastic financial support for two Mirror sailing crews from the Philippines who are due to fly into Perth on Monday. The four sailors are representing the Philippines in the upcoming the International Mirror Dinghy World Championships in Albany, Western Australia after Christmas, an event expected to have about eighty crews from Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Senior crew Ridgely Balladeres and Romel Chavez are already known to the WA Mirror sailors from previous competition.
