It was a grey and uninviting day to start the Phuket King's Cup 2010. On the breakfast deck at the Kata Beach Resort we could hear the RO over the VHF, winding up for a postponement. So, another round of toast. Then when we did get down to the beach, the camera boat blew its steering - fortunately before we had waded out from the beach and splashed aboard (why do people keep asking me what I have in the esky? Cameras, of course!) Out on the water (different boat) it started grey, and pretty much stayed that way. Except ...
