NSW 12ft Skiff State Championship
The 2008 NSW 12ft Skiff State Championships start this weekend (concluding next weekend).
The 6 heat series will be hosted at 3 venues around Sydney.
Heat 1 14:45 SAT 6th December Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Skiff Club
Heat 2 and 3 14:30 SUN 7th December Abbotsford 12ft Flying Squadron
Heat 4 15:10 SAT 13th December Sydney Flying Squadron
Heat 5 and 6 14:30 SUN 14th December Sydney Flying Squadron
This series will see boats fighting for a position in the Australian team in order to do battle with the Kiwis at the premier 12ft skiff event; The 49th Interdominion 12' Skiff Championships (being held in Brisbane, January 2009).
If you are in Sydney, make your way to a harbour side (or river side) viewpoint to watch the thrills and spills of development class skiff racing.
