All divisions have started to Hawaii in the biannual 2070 nm San Francisco to Oahu race. The fleet ranges from 22 feet, with two Mini Transat entries, up to 68 feet. There is a gap of some 675 nm between the yachts that started on July 5 and the yachts that started last on July 10 and which are now about 200nm into the race desperate to catch the yachts with a five day start on them. .
