Yesterday they were talking about "Hawaii in Thailand" (really, it wasn't just Rob Kothe making it up!). So perhaps today was the turn of the Caribbean - heck, whatever; the breeze was in again, the water was blue (and so was the sky) and the sun was shining his (her?) socks off. PRO Tony Denham was in charge on the Prapis start line, and presided over windward/leeward races for IRC Racing, IRC 1, Firefly 850s and IRC 2.

IRC racing completed three races (well, four, if you count the epic 4.4 nm leg up to Koh Bon and back before the race was abandoned) and all other classes raced twice. Racing started in around 14 knots of breeze, eased a bit in the middle of the day, and built again for a good finish to the day. In the words of Kevin Whitcraft, PKC President, "the wind did NOT 'do a Phuket'."

There was some keen competition on the water between the two Royal Thai Navy boats in IRC 2, and the Firefly 850s were dashing about in clouds of spray. Enough words - here come the pics.
