The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron will host the Australian and World Championships for the Farr 40 one-design class in February 2011. The regatta will be one of the highlights of a busy season of club, national and international racing over the coming summer season that gets under way on Saturday, 4 September. At least ten overseas Farr 40s are expected to be shipped to Sydney to join 10 or 12 Australian boats in a brilliant series of racing in these owner-helmed, high-performance one-design yachts sailed by some of the world's leading yachtsmen.
