As SOS Ocean Racing passes under Albany, Western Australia, there is just 3,000nm to go in Ian Thomson's world record attempt to circumnavigate Australia Solo. Having had a few slow days Ian is now flying along in the Southern Ocean with a nice 183nm 24hour run. With winds blowing at 20-25 knots from the North West and expected to hold out for at least another day, Another 200nm day is expected today bringing Tasmania closer step by step.
