SSAA Winter Series starts Saturday April 18th

1:37 AM Tue 14 Apr 2009 GMT
The first race of the 2009 SSAA Winter Series is the Secumar Pittwater-Botany Bay-Sydney race, starting at 1000hrs this Saturday 18th April.

Secumar have been supporting the SSAA for the last four years.

This is a Cat 4 race from Pittwater, down to Botany Bay and back up to the finish inside Sydney Harbour, and is a great way to ease into the Winter shorthanding series.

Yachts can enter sailing solo or two-handed with autopilot, or three-handed if not using an autopilot.

Last year we had 10 monohulls and one multihull racing, and we would love to see a bigger turnout this year - we would particularly like to see more multis racing!

All details including Notice of Series, Sailing Instructions and Entry Form can be found on the Racing & Events page on the SSAA website - www.ssaa.com.au.

Secumar Australia is the trading arm of M.O.S.S. Australia - the marine occupation safety and service expert, and the local agent for the Secumar range of products. The company specialises in selling Inflatable Lifejackets and PFDs, Offshore Lifejackets, Lifebuoys and Man-Overboard Recovery, Distress Signals, Lights and Beacons.
