The shortened version of Sanctuary Cove 2009 is up and running.

After hundreds of mm. of rain, 100km winds, at last the sun is shining and the crowds are flooding in (sorry unfortunate choice of words).

On Wednesday final set up was stopped when horizontal rain flooded exhibition halls which had to be evacuated.

Organisers had no choice but to delay the show start until today.

But now the sun is shining on the crowds, exhibitors, media and event organisers.

With 400 exhibitors and five kilometres of walk-ways, the boat shoes are getting a work out.
