Sawasdee Plc signs three year deal - Regatta Samui

Now in its eighth year, the Regatta is considered one of the yachting community's favourite sailing events in the region. As the final stop in the Asian Yachting Grand Prix, the racing always attracts the best boats of all categories and crews from around the region. The seventh Regatta had over 300 participants from over 10 countries and next year's event is on track to be even more popular. Based on the number of enquiries to date, the number of competitors on the water is estimated to grow by at least 20 percent.

Partners have always played a key role in the success of the Regatta, helping the event to become one of Asia's top sporting events. In addition to Web Sawasdee Plc, the current list includes Thai premium residential property developer Raimon Land. Moreover, this year, for the first time ever at the Regatta, there will be a number of exciting corporate hospitality packages.
Callum Laing, chairman of the organising committee, explained: ''The 2009 Regatta is set to reach a whole new level and our new partners will help us share this magical event with a greater audience. This year, we'll focus on showing off the island of Koh Samui whilst introducing the magnificent sport of yachting to a wider, and younger, audience in Asia. We're also planning a number of fundraising and environmentally-responsible initiatives during the Regatta."
