Slingsby and Jensen launch Gosford Sailing Club's Youth Academy

Gosford Sailing Club today launched it's Youth Academy by challenging the Hunter Sailing Academy to compete in a match race event. Tom Slingsby, local hero and multiple world champion, stepped up to skipper the Gosford Academy team and Iain Jensen (world champion 49er crew 2009, second 2010 Worlds, Gold medallist - Weymouth Olympic test event 2010) drove the Hunter Academy team. Gosford Sailing Club has been working hard to establish a match racing program and, with the support of a creative board and generous local sponsors, has purchased two Magic 25s (pictured).
