Southern Spars update regarding Salperton IV dismasting

Southern Spars has been commissioned to design and build a new mast and EC6 rigging package for then 45m Salperton IV to replace the previously damaged mast and failed PBO standing rigging. The cause of Salperton's dismasting is yet to be determined but an investigation to be led by the yacht?s insurers with both the manufacturer, and its carrier, actively participating in the aforementioned investigation. The investigation will likely commence within the next few weeks upon the arrival of the necessary parts and equipment returning to England.
