Sydney Hobart Race 2010 update. Bob Oatley?s Wild Oats XI is powering south leading the 87 boat fleet down the New South Wales coast. Wild Oats XI navigator Adrienne Cahalan reported a few minutes ago that the first stage of the southerly has reached the super maxi just south of Kiama and is gusting to 30 knots, and is expected to build towards 35 knots in the coming hours. Cahalan said that Oats XI having had a good run out of the Harbour and down the coast and had opened up a two-three mile lead on Sean Langman and Anthony ...
