Following years of devastating drought that saw most of State?s inland waterways run dry, which brought clubs to their knees and sailing to a halt, Yachting Victoria?s recent highly successful regional Tackers program has helped refloat rural clubs and given more than a thousand kids the chance to go sailing. Schools, the media, yacht club officials and primary students have applauded the 'Tackers Intro for Schools Program?, which was conducted during October and November as a run away success! It was not only great fun, but it inspired hope, kick started boating in the bush again and delivered a raft ...
