'The Voice of McCrae' - a memorial award for Youth members

The recent McCrae Yacht Club presentation night saw the inaugural Rosemary Mason memorial award presented. John Mason had decided some years ago that there should be an award in memory of his late wife, Rosemary, the lady who was known as 'the voice of McCrae'. He didn't want a tree or just a trophy but something that would pay tribute to the work Rosemary had done within the yachting community. Rosemary was heavily involved with youth activities both at the yacht club but also in her capacity as a member of the Victorian Yachting Council Youth Development Committee. At McCrae ...
