The Australian Team Coach Greg Omay said, 'It was a tough day in the office today with all three races being sailed in less than 5 knots and strong current, making it a very demanding day for all teams.'

SKUD 18 - Two Person Keelboat - AUS Team: Dan Fitzgibbon & Rachael Cox (QLD)

The Australian SKUD 18 crew of Dan Fitzgibbon and Rachael Cox scored at 9th and a 3rd today and sit in third place overall. The Aussies are 1 point away from the second placed Canadian Team and have a 15 point cushion over the fourth placed British Team.

'It was a frustrating first race, however we recovered well and sailed a tactically solid race to finish well in the second.' said Rachael Cox
