USA wins Gold In Qingdao

The USA Skud 18 crew of Nick Scandone and Maureen Mckinnon-Tucker are believed to have won the first Gold medal of the 2008 Paralympics.


They won two races today, and the decision of officials to reduce the series to just 10 races has created a situation where mathematically the USA have some the first Gold Medal of the regatta.
