Sydney City Marine series - Saturday sported stunning winter conditions for Race 8 with good winds, only a few holes and wind shifts that kept tacticians on their guard. The Start Team decided it was a good day to run the windward/leeward course, catching out a few unprepared boats. The start, in the vicinity of Spring Cove had a good 10-15 kts however at the top end near Middle Head it was light and fluky. Division 2 winner Arthur Crothers (Kaotic) said: 'You really had to pick out where you went - there were 20 degree wind shifts out there. ...
