A record number of 43 sailors participated in the 19th Minnow State Championships hosted by The Cruising Yacht Club, Rockingham and sailed on the beautiful waters of Cockburn Sound. Sailors travelled from as far as Dunsborough for the long weekend of sailing. Many of the Silver Fleet and first year sailors competed at their first major regatta. On the other hand, the racing at the top end of the Gold Fleet was close and exciting with experience and exceptional sailing skills evident.
