Windsurfing World's 2010 update: Cercle de Voile de Martigues (CVM), France, last week hosted the largest windsurfing championships in recent memory. The entry, 435 competitors, exceeded the previous record established at last years Junior, Youth and Masters Windsurfing World Championships in Weymouth, UK. It was particularly satisfying to see an increase in both age divisions, boys and girls, in the Techno 293 Championship - the class supported by all windsurfing classes for the junior (under 17 ) development pathway.
