Yachting Australia President, Andrew Plympton, indicated his intention to resign, both as President and as a Director at the AGM in October 2010. The next Board Meeting will be the last that Andrew attends. Appropriate arrangements are being made to recognise the enormous contribution that Andrew has made to the organisation and to sailing as the longest serving President of Yachting Australia. At their meeting on 17 December 2010, the five elected Board members considered who should be elected as President. The nomination of David Gotze was supported unanimously.
