Holly Beck is a surf instructor extraordinaire. She’s also a pro surfer, but today we’re marveling at her instruction technique, because she’s released one of the best how-to video’s for beginner surfers you’ll find on the internet.

“In the very beginning, you’re learning how to surf and you’re going straight. That’s not as cool! I mean, it’s cool, at the beginning. It’s cool if that’s all you’ve got! The next step is going to be turning along the face of a wave. What we like to say is: Use your boobs!”
