It's got to be… John John Florence has had magnets implanted in his feet, and all his boards have a thin layer of steel on the deck. That's why he can bust such ridiculous airs and keep that board on his feet.

Ok. Perhaps that's not true, but nobody can deny that JJF is doing some superhuman stuff on a surfboard right now. Aerials that put the kiteboarders to shame, barrels deeper than previously thought possible, and one of the best examples of backside surfing you will ever see.
