Luck of the Irish

Or bad luck in the case of young wave sailor Mikey Clancy.

After an awesome first year on the tour, Mikey Clancy (Starboard, Severne, MFC), has been a bit quiet of late. Normally he's bang up to date on his blog and sends us news of amazing conditions on the emerald isle on a regular basis.

Well, it's all come out now. It sounds like Mikey has been having a rough time of it recently with some severe damage to his ankle. Check out the full story on his website by clicking HERE. It all sounds pretty horrific and could well send a chill down your spine!

If that was too much for you, take a look at some of his videos HERE. Hopefully he'll be back up to speed before long and making us jealous with more clips of him riding perfect waves.

We wish you a speedy and pain free recovery Mikey! Hopefully we'll see you on tour later in the year...
