Social networking sites have been swamped this morning with the sad news that PWA hotshot wave sailor Boujmaa Guilloul (Starboard / Severne / Mystic MFC) has sustained multiple injuries while attempting a monster triple forward loop at Maui's Hookipa Beach Park.

Several reports have come our way; from what we can gather, Boujmaa crashed out during the move, in turn knocking himself out. Right now the hospital report is looking optimistic, but only thanks to the fast thinking of PWA rider Klass Voget (Fanatic / Simmer / MFC), who was on the scene asap to pull Boujmaa to the surface, and summon the beach patrol to pick him up.
